Pay Less!
Health Training Center (HTC) offers short-term, career-focused and low-cost certificate programs that include some of the most popular and well-paying health careers today. If you want quick results and a new career in a fulfilling, well-paying, and long-term job, HTC can help you on your way.
HTC begins classes 3 times a year, in September, January, and April/May.
We offer affordable programs which are 4-5 times less in cost than most of the schools in the area that Health Training Center serves. Why is HTC able to charge less for high-caliber courses?
- We are not a part of a large national chain of 100 schools and colleges providing healthcare training. Our 7 class sites are all in Massachusetts.
- We do not have any vice-presidents that promote our programs nationally and therefore, we do not need to pay for their high salaries or for airplane and hotel room costs as they check on schools across the country.
- We are locally-based, with operations only in Massachussetts.
- We do not pay for a lot of expensive television ads for HTC.
- We give people the essential training required for a long-term career in health care and which will allow you to get locally and nationally certified. We don’t require people to take extra courses that are not needed to obtain a job.
- We only have one administrative office that serves all of our 5 locations. Thus your certificate costs less.
- We rent most of our classrooms in hospitals, churches, and office buildings to keep your tuition as low as possible.
Job Outlook
According to the Occupational Handbook published by the U.S. Department of Labor, many of the fastest growing occupations are concentrated in the health services field. This area is expected to increase more than twice as fast as the economy as a whole. A factor contributing to the growth in this industry is the aging population which continues to require services. The increased demand for health care services, fed by the growing proportion of elderly in the population, is expected to continue for at least 50 years! For instance, medical assistants and medical billers/coders can expect a 59% increase in the number of jobs available until 2012.
